There are two update mode, normal update and forced update.
Mostly, please update firmware following the instruction of normal update. If you have trouble in normal update, please contact our technical support first.
Preparation
1. An update firmware file from technical support.
Note: Use the update firmware file without unzip if it is a compressed file.
If you're not sure whether the update firmware file needs unzip, you can try to unzip it. When you try if it requires a password to unzip it, which means you can use it without unzip.
2. A USB flash drive.
The following list is for checking when the device does not recognize the USB flash drive.
Recommended Flash Drive Requirement:
○ Empty flash drive
Or place firmware files in the root path of the flash drive.
○ FAT file system
It can be checked by Right-clicking USB Drive and clicking 'Properties'.
○ Memory Size under 8GB
The smaller the capacity, the better.
Normal Update
1. Plug the flash driver (with an update firmware file) into the Anviz Device.
You will see a small Flash Drive icon on the device screen.
2. Enter Main menu>Settings>Update.
3. Click "Update".
4. Click 'Yes(OK)' to restart.
5. Update complete.
Forced Update
Notice: Do not follow the instruction of forced update until our technical support asks you to do.
1. Plug the flash driver (with an update firmware file) into the Anviz Device.
You will see a small Flash Drive icon on the device screen.
2. Enter Main menu>Settings>Update.
3. For devices with kepad, press "IN""12345""OUT" to enter forced upgrade mode.
For devices with touch screen, keep clicking the image of flash drive to enter forced upgrade mode.
4. Click "Update".
5. Click 'Yes(OK)' to restart.
6. Update complete.
